Derby County FC 2019/20

Derby County FC 2019/20

It’s time to show that Derby County is in your DNA for the 2019/20 season.

Derby County’s new Umbro home kit has today been revealed for the first time - and it’s on sale NOW at the DCFCMegastore at Pride Park Stadium and online at dcfcmegastore.com.

The 2019/10 home kit was unveiled alongside the instalment of a fly-poster wall along the fencing between the exterior of the Morley Hayes South Stand and the South Car Park, as well as a new mural on the facia wall of the South Stand.

The front of the Rams’ kits for next season will once again be adorned with the logo of 32Red, who will enter the second season of their agreement as Derby’s principal shirt sponsor.

Inspired by the kit worn during the 1995/96 promotion season under Jim Smith, the 2019/20 home shirt pays homage to a memorable campaign by reinventing a new intricate graphic that also showcases the iconic stanchions that adorn the skyline of Pride Park.

The unique design feature is placed on the sleeve to offer a different focal point of the home shirt, which also features the wording “EST 1884” in the club’s personal Baseball Ground typeface wording on the back of the neck.

The 2019/20 home kit launch features the likes of Richard Keogh, Jayden Bogle, Mason Bennett, Martyn Waghorn, Jack Marriott, George Evans and Max Bird from the first-team squad, alongside Derby County Ladies’ players Hannah Ward, Cara Newton, Leah Kellogg and Jenny Simms.

Discussing the new home kit, defender Richard Keogh said: “I really enjoyed being part of filming the video for the new home kit and I am sure it will be popular with our supporters.

“The nod to 1990’s music within the video itself is right up my street and it’s fantastic to recognise the club’s history within the kit too. I love it and I can’t wait to wear it next season.”

Derby County’s Chief Executive Officer, Stephen Pearce, said: “We’re proud to launch Derby County’s new home kit for the 2019/20 season.

“I think Umbro have got the ideal balance of a modern and exciting home kit alongside integrating an element of the club’s history.”

All 2019/20 home kit purchases can be made during normal opening hours from the DCFCMegastore at Pride Park Stadium or 24 hours a day online at dcfcmegastore.com.
