Today Lack of Guidance release their latest piece in honour of the 1974 World Cup. In many ways, this tournament was revolutionary.
At the height of the Cold War, Germany was at the front line of an ideological conflict which divided the country.
So when East Germany faced West Germany in the 1974 World Cup, the eyes of the world would be on a nation temporarily unified once again, if only for 90 minutes.
Inspired by these events, this piece is a heavy cotton white long sleeve with a graphic on the front and back. Chances are that you will recognise the graphic, as it is a reinterpretation of the beautiful 1974 World Cup logo.
Retailing for €69,95 or £59,95 through their shop, but as always, stock is very limited. The Franz Long Sleeve will be available today from 13:00 GMT
Raised in an environment that was dominated by football but with a growing interest in the fine arts it was easy to see the disconnect between these worlds.
Lack of Guidance is founded on maintaining the principles of football and combining it with fashion and thought provoking design.
By taking a different approach to football apparel, they intend on filling the void and creating accessible football influenced clothing.
