Nike have today released their first Just Do It campaign in Germany, starring Leroy Sané, Léon Schäfer and Zeina Nassar.
Directed by John Hillcoat, Nike's “Helden” celebrates German athletes working hard on and off the pitch and track and in their communities to push society forward.
“Du tust es nie nur für dich” (“You never do it just for yourself.”) is a celebration of sport’s incredible power to unite people and a call to all athletes, inspiring them to go beyond medals and trophies and to become heroes themselves.
The campaign film, 'Heroes' introduces a new generation of German athletes who – as individuals and in their teams – work hard to advance society. The campaign film portrays 16 heroes on their individual path.
Nike worked closely with athletes, influencers, and partners of various sporting social backgrounds to make the campaign authentic, convincing, and relevant to different audiences and communities. The Out-of-Home campaign also features the athletes' fans, friends and teams, who are inspired and personally connected to our heroes.
