Liverpool and Belgium striker Divock Origi and London based film maker and director, Gabriel Moses, combine to create a short titled – 'A Portrait Of Divock Origi'.
Gabriel Moses, heard of him? If you haven't then we can almost guarantee that you'll have seen some of his work.
He's the director and creator behind projects for the likes of Matthew Williams Alyx and Obey Giant founder Shepard Fairey, Off-White, as well as rising stars such as British light heavyweight Joshua Buatsi. Oh, not to mention Chelsea and England forward Callum Hudson-Odoi. His work is often candid, with a sensitive and often evaluating tone of his subjects.
On making the film, Moses said, “I wanted the film to paint a picture of Divock as a human being as opposed to a footballer, through a series of portraits & vignettes – they are almost like moving still images.”
The film features Origi himself, explaining what motivates him as a person, as well as exploring the players life living in Liverpool. All of this playing out across both his home and Anfield itself.
